Global Domination

Hey guys, as you may know, in our May update we’re adding tons of shiny new features!  What you may not know is that we’ll be rolling out to 100+ new countries.  There will be a massive injection of players over the next month, so you can expect plenty of new challengers in the PvP lobby.  But don’t go thinking the newbies will be a walkover!  Fighters across the globe vary massively in their strategy, style and team allegiances.  So expect the unexpected!..  Let’s take a look at the typical traits of Fighters from our biggest nations; Teams, wardrobe choices and fighting styles.  Do you fit the national stereotype?

United States

Unsurprisingly, American Top Team is the number one pick for U.S. Fighters, recruiting 3 times more than any other team.   American Players opt for Boxing and Wrestling, dominating opponents with combos and takedowns.

For our U.S. friends, Scramble Galactica Shorts and Bad Boy gloves are the #1 Store purchases.  They’re also partial to biker tats!

Denmark

Did you know the Danes are massive Bas fans?  Bas Rutten’s Elite MMA is the top Team in Denmark.

Bas is well known for his devastating striking, and our Danish players are no different.  Kickboxing is their primary specialism, and hey, why bother with  fancy submissions when a good hard kick to the liver will do the job!

Our Danish Fighters kick ass wearing Revgear.

The top picked Team for British Players is London Shootfighters – do you see a theme emerging here?  Don’t let the FUJI Judo Gi fool you, Boxing is the primary discipline for U.K Fighters, so protect your beautiful face!

Singapore

It’s all about ground game for our SG Players, so if you come up against a Fighter from the Lion City you’ll be eating canvas for most of the bout!  Pancrase’s Team Samurai wins top spot, recruiting almost half of all new Fighters.  Check out their black and gold look; Hayabusa Muay Thai Shorts, Python Guy Gloves and the Japanese Tiger Tattoo all sell out.

Canada

Our Canadian friends join Firas Zahabi in the Montreal Tristar gym.  Typically, they stay on their feet and look for the big knockout; choosing Kickboxing and Boxing over ground fighting.  In the Great White North, this seasons look is prison tats and the top garb from Revgear and Scramble!

Philippines

Our Filipino Fighters choose Muay Thai as their primary Fighting style so watch out for slicing elbows and knees!  The islanders go for a surfer look with the Revgear Shark Attack Rash Guard and Bad Boy gloves.  These dudes are not loyal to any one Team, spreading across all seven MMA Federation gyms.

Ireland

The vast Irish majority pledge their allegiance to Straight Blast Gym; joining John Kavanagh and training both knockout power and ground game.  As you’d expect from an SBG Fighter, looking sharp is a priority – SBG’s own Team gear tops the bill.
